Sofian Ayyad
At Renew Psychotherapy, my work focuses on psychological assessment and clinical supervision. I conduct assessments for first responders, workplace injuries, and personal injury claimants, with an emphasis on diagnostic clarification, functional impact, and treatment planning recommendations.
I bring over a decade of experience in the field of mental health, including work with culturally diverse populations, which informs my attention to linguistic, cultural, and contextual factors in assessment.
I hold a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University and a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from Fielding Graduate University. I am a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario, authorized for independent practice, and a member in good standing with the Ontario Association of Mental Health Professionals. I am currently completing doctoral training in Clinical Psychology at Fielding Graduate University, an APA-accredited program.
In addition to assessment work, I provide clinical supervision to practicum students completing their counselling psychology training and to psychotherapists working toward autonomous practice.
