Dalia Mohammed
MA, Registered Psychotherapist
I believe in creating a warm, compassionate, and non-judgmental space where you can feel safe to explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences. Whether you're feeling anxious, overwhelmed, or navigating the aftermath of trauma or major life transitions, I consider it a privilege to walk alongside you on your healing journey.
My path into psychotherapy was guided by a deep-rooted desire to support individuals through life’s most challenging moments. I work collaboratively with my clients to help them identify their strengths, build resilience, and foster meaningful personal growth. My therapeutic approach is integrative, drawing from cognitive-behavioral, psychodynamic, and mindfulness-based modalities. I always work through a person-centred and culturally informed lens, tailoring each session to meet your unique needs.
I have particular experience supporting individuals dealing with anxiety, domestic and emotional abuse, stress-related concerns, and sexual abuse. Fluent in both English and Arabic, I am passionate about making therapy inclusive and accessible for clients from a wide range of cultural backgrounds. Having lived in the Middle East and now in Canada, I bring a deep understanding of the complexities of identity, immigration, intergenerational conflict, and the unique challenges faced by marginalized communities.
I genuinely believe in the potential for change, even in the most difficult and uncertain times. Taking that first step toward support takes courage, and I would be honoured to walk with you on your path to healing and growth.
