Haya Alshawa, MA
Registered Psychotherapist
As a compassionate psychotherapist, I support individuals struggling with chronic pain, trauma, depression, anxiety, grief, and life transitions. My clients often feel stuck, exhausted, and unseen, longing for relief and understanding. They may be overwhelmed by loss, frustrated by chronic pain, or trapped in trauma’s lingering effects. Many have tried to push through on their own, only to remain in emotional and physical distress. They struggle with self-criticism, suppressed emotions, and a sense of losing themselves. They seek a space where they feel heard—without judgment or forced solutions.
My clients want practical, effective tools to regain control and reconnect with themselves. I integrate CBT, Solution-Focused, and Trauma-Informed Therapy, tailoring each session to individual needs. Therapy with me is flexible and collaborative, helping clients shift self-defeating patterns, manage pain, and build resilience.
Whether facing grief, anxiety, or emotional exhaustion, I provide a supportive space to heal at their own pace. Everyone deserves to be heard and supported. If you're seeking clarity, relief, or a deeper understanding of yourself, I’m here to walk that journey with you.
I hold a Master of Arts degree in counseling psychology from Yorkville University and I am a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario.
